UI Update — Perform Assessment - List
The Perform Assessment page has had a refresh to bring it more into alignment with the New Experience design language. There are now filtering and search options. Filter options include type, above unit, unit, and job.
Selecting a user's name will open an information modal, with easy access to the user's profile.
To start the assessment process, select the user's Select button.
The initial list will display 20 individuals. A “Load more” button will display at the bottom of the list.
UI Update — Perform Assessment - Individual
The individual assessment page has had a refresh to bring it more into alignment with the New Experience design language. There are now filtering and search options. Filter options include skill groups, skill categories, skill types, and jobs. There are also three tabs — current job skills, Followed job skills, and Other skills. Select Assess to start an assessment.
Current Job Skills
Tab visibility: Always visible
- Shows list of skills related to the selected user’s current jobs that the logged in user has permission to see
Followed Job Skills
- Tab visibility: Only if career paths feature is enabled in the academy
- Shows list of skills related to the selected user’s public followed jobs
Other Skills
- Tab visibility: Always visible
- Shows as list of all academy skills that are NOT mapped to a Current or Followed job
UI Update — Assign / Unassign Skills
The Assign and Unassign Skills pages have had a refresh to bring them more into alignment with the New Experience design language. There are now filtering and search options. Filter options include Skills groups, categories, and types.
Moreover, the process has switched. Instead of first selecting the skills and then the individuals that should be associated with those skills, the skills are now first selected, followed be the individuals. Otherwise, the functionality remains the same.
Assigning Skills
- The initial list will display 20 skills. A “Load more” button will display at the bottom of the list.
- When selecting only one skill, all active academy users will be displayed, and users that have already assigned the selected skill will be greyed out with the “Already assigned” indicator
- When selecting more than one skill , all active academy users will be displayed, and users that have already assigned the selected skill will be selectable without indicator. On the assign action users will be skipped that have already been assigned the skill.
Unassigning Skills
- The initial list will display 20 skills. A “Load more” button will display at the bottom of the list.
- When only one skill is selected, only users that have been assigned the selected skill will be displayed
- When more than one skill is selected, all active academy users will be displayed, all users will be selectable. On the unassign action, only the selected skills will be unassigned from users that have them already assigned
UI Updates — Learner Analytics Wording Adjustments
In the learner's analytics dashboard (Learner Workspace > Analytics > Skills), instead of Required (Required by job, Required by admin, and Optional), learners will now see Job connection (Current job, Followed job, and Other).
- Current job → Displays skills that are mapped on the selected learner current job(s)
- Followed job → Displays skills that are mapped on the selected learner followed job(s)
- Other → Displays skills that are NOT mapped on the selected learner current or followed job(s) AND skills that are required by admin
This will also be represented in the drop-down menu on the skills listing page (Learner Workspace > Development > Skills).
New Additions — Custom Skill Category and Group Duplicate Check
Custom skill categories and groups with the same name will no longer be able to be added more than once.
Academy Workspace > Development > Grouping Skills
If the addition of a duplicate category or group is attempted, an error message will appear, letting the user know they are unable to do so.
New Additions — Add AI Skills Mapping in OJT Tasks
If AI functionality is enabled in your academy, AI Skill mapping will now be an option within On-the-Job training.
OJT tasks can be associated with specific skills. This release adds the ability to choose between manually associating skills or using AI to assist. This works in very much the same way as mapping skills in your academy.
The skills AI will suggest will be based on the information it gleans from the specific OJT.
Sunsetted Functionality
Track Requests and Request Assessment functionality will no longer be available.
