To enhance the learner experience within your academy, you can enable the My Annotations gadget. This feature allows learners to easily access and review all annotations they have created. Its functionality mirrors the stream available in the Overview tab of the My Training page, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience.
To configure and make this gadget available, follow the steps below.
Enabling the My Annotations Gadget
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Academy Workspace.
When in the Academy Workspace, select Academy Admin for all Academy Administration options.
Select Configuration and then General.
On the General page, navigate to the Homepage Editor tab.
Select your preferred configuration to enable the My Annotations gadget. You can either use the default configurations or define a custom configuration based on your needs.
Then, open the Choose Gadget dropdown menu and select My Annotations.
Click Add to save your selection and include the gadget in your configuration.
Please note that this gadget is available exclusively on the web application.
My Annotations Gadget
The gadget displays the annotations created by an individual user within their courses. It includes the associated training title as well as the type of each annotation. The gadget shows up to 20 courses that contain user annotations.
By selecting an annotation, learners are redirected to the My Annotations page within the respective course.
On the My Annotations page, learners can view all annotations they have compiled for the specific training. By selecting the eye icon next to an annotation, they are redirected to the exact location within the content, allowing them to review it in greater detail.
