Re-trigger Welcome Emails for Users

Previously, when users fail to receive the initial welcome email, administrators are unable to send it. The work-around has been to use the "forgot password" functionality, which is not ideal. 

This update adds the ability for administrators to manually re-trigger the welcome email at the touch of a button.

On the Manage Members page, in the individual's three-dot More menu, select Resend welcome email.

Note, this option is only available:

  • to administrators
  • for individuals who have not yet logged in
  • for individuals who belong to only one academy
  • for individuals with an email address

After selecting the option, a modal will appear for confirmation.

The email the individual receives will include a temporary password that they must change upon login.

This email supersedes the academy welcome notification.
