This update consolidates the ability to create announcements — placing a Create Announcement drop-down on the Announcements page, and removing the options previously located in the left-side menus.
In the Team Workspace, there were two options, Academy Announcements and Training Announcements.
Navigate to the Announcements page by selecting the envelope on top of the page, then the Announcements tab.
If you have permission to create an announcement, a Create Announcement drop-down menu will be present in the upper-right corner of the page. Selecting the drop-down will reveal three options — Academy announcement, Course announcement, and Learning path announcement.
Selecting Academy announcement will allow you to specify who should receive the announcement, whereas Course and Learning path announcement will also include the training to which the announcement should be associated.
