Tracking Progress with My Team Dashboard (New)

Tracking progress and completions is a critical part of managing learning and development within your team. The My Team Dashboard provides a centralized view of key performance and engagement metrics, allowing managers to easily monitor their team’s learning activity in one place.

This dashboard is designed to streamline visibility into learner progress, helping you make informed decisions and take timely action where needed. With this dashboard, you can quickly identify who is on track, who may need support, and where to focus your attention.

Accessing My Team Dashboard

To access the dashboard:

In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Team Workspace.

Once you're in the Team Workspace, select My Team Dashboard.

There are currently two versions of the My Team Dashboard available: the Classic Dashboard and the New Dashboard. In this article, we will present the New Dashboard.

New Dashboard

In My Team’s Dashboard, you’ll find several sections that highlight different aspects of your team’s learning activity, such as progress, completions, and other key insights.

The sections you see may vary depending on your academy’s configuration. This means your dashboard might look slightly different from what is shown here.

Learners

The Learners Dashboard gives you a clear view of each learner’s progress and helps you confirm whether they’ve completed all required course steps, such as finishing lectures and passing assessments.

Learners.jpg

From this dashboard, you can access a list of all the individuals in your academy that you have permission to view. You can quickly search for specific learners and either:

  • Open their full profile for more details, or
  • View a high-level snapshot of their overall progress

This allows you to easily focus on specific areas of learning, such as coursework, onboarding, compliance, and more.

At the top of the Learners list, you can switch between two views: Training and Development

The Training view (the default) shows Total learners, Courses compliance, Courses completion, and Overdue learners at the top, with a table listing Learner, Courses, Completion, Compliance, Learning paths, Events, OJTs, and Exams.

The Development view shows Total learners, Goals completion, Sessions completion, and Performance reviews completion at the top, with a table listing Learner, Skills, Best skill, Goals, Completed goals, Sessions, Completed sessions, Reviews, and Completed reviews. Sorting in this list is limited to the Learner column.

For a more detailed walkthrough, see the Tracking Progress with the Employees Dashboard article.

Compliance

Stay up to date with your learners’ compliance by tracking progress either by individual or by training program.

Compliance.jpg

This dashboard helps you quickly understand where your team stands and identify any gaps that may need your attention.

For more details, see Managing Your Academy's Compliance Courses.

Training

Selecting Training from the left-hand menu allows you to focus on specific learning activities across your academy, including courses, learning paths, on-the-job training, events, and more.

At the top of the page, you’ll find several tabs that help you navigate different training types:
COURSES TAB.jpg

  • Courses
  • Learning Paths
  • Microlearning
  • Events
  • On-the-Job Training
  • Exams
  • Credits
  • Onboarding

By default, you’ll land on the Courses tab, with the following filters already applied:

  • State: Active
  • Category Type: Academy Categories

Filtering Options

On the left side of the screen, you can refine what you see using several filters, including:

  • Category Type
  • Categories
  • State (Active or Archived)
  • Visibility (Public or Private)
  • Objectives (Compliance Training)

These filters help you quickly narrow down the content and focus on what matters most to you.

Downloading Reports

Selecting the Download button generates a report based on your current view. This means the report will include only the data that matches the filters you’ve applied on the page.

Note: The Courses Report available on the Dashboard page does not include courses associated with expired coupons.

Training - Courses/Learning paths/Microlearning

Select Courses, Learning Paths, or Microlearning to view more detailed information about the individuals enrolled in each item.

When you select a specific item (such as a course, learning path or micro-course), you’ll be taken to a list of learners associated with it. Next to each learner, you’ll find a three-dot menu that gives you quick access to additional actions. From this menu, you can:

  • Unassign the training
  • Edit the due date
  • Reassign the training
  • Mark as completed

These options make it easy for you to manage assignments and keep your learners on track.

When you’re viewing a training item, you can select an individual from the list of learners to explore their progress in more detail.

The Assessments Matrix View gives managers or supervisors a quick, “at-a-glance” look at how their employees are performing and compare to one another against specific OJT training criteria.

  • The Assessment Matrix will only display data if a Performance Level/Score has been selected for the OJT Tasks.
  • If using Performance levels assessments, you are also able to select colors corresponding to each level to help you identify the previous performance of your employees quickly. You can set up the different colors in your On the Job Academy settings.

Sorting Options

You can sort On-the-job Trainings alphabetically either from A to Z or from Z to A.

Filtering Options

On the left-hand side, you can refine your view using the following filters:

  • Categories
  • Connection (Part of course, Standalone)
  • Course State (Active, Archived)
  • Objectives (Compliance)

These filters help you quickly find and focus on the on-the-job training items that matter to you.

Training - Exams

Search for and select an exam to view details about the learners who have taken it.

From there, you can review each participant’s scores per attempt, as well as their submitted answers where available.

Training - Credits

Credits allow you to define specific areas of expertise and track progress toward them. You can create credit types and associate them with courses or jobs, helping you ensure that learners complete a required number of credits within a set timeframe (such as 6 months or a year).

Credit types act as specialization titles, reflecting both the level of knowledge your learners have achieved and the focus of their training. For more information, see Using Credits in Your Academy

On the Credits tab, you can search for a specific credit type or filter results based on organizational criteria.

Selecting a credit type allows you to view the associated learners, along with the number of credits they have earned within the defined period.

Training - Onboarding

In the Onboarding tab, you can track your new hires’ progress based on the onboarding plans you’ve set up.

onboarding.jpg

You can easily see who is currently going through an onboarding process, where they are in their journey, and how long it typically takes to complete each onboarding program.

This helps you stay informed and ensure that every new hire is progressing as expected.

Compare Training

This page allows you to compare progress across your organizational structure.

Use the sub-tabs (Courses, Learning Paths, or Exams) to select the type of training you want to review and see how different organizational units are progressing.

To explore further, use the Details option to view individual learner progress within each organizational unit.

COMPARE.jpg

Note: By default, when no organizational structure is selected in Compare TrainingTree View, the system displays only top-level organizational units that have associated child nodes. Organizational units without child nodes are not shown in this view.

Development

The Development tab brings together everything related to your team's growth beyond course completion, in one place. It has five sub-tabs: Skills, Performance reviews, Goals, Coaching, and Career paths.

A few things are true across all five sub-tabs: opening a specific record — a skill, a job, a review, a goal, a coach, or a career path — hides the top navigation tabs so you can focus on that record's own page; sorting happens directly in the table's column headers.

Development - Skills

The Skills sub-tab has three views: By skill, By job, and Assessment gap.

By skill

The skills list shows Total active skills, Skills mapped to jobs, and Skills mapped to training. Select any row to open that skill's page.

A skill's page shows its average skill score, the average score of learners the skill is required for, and the average score of learners who aren't required to have the skill but have completed an online assessment on it anyway. The learner list includes everyone the skill is required for (by job or by direct assignment) plus anyone with an assessment on it even if it isn't required for them, and you can filter by user custom fields and by whether the skill is required for each learner. Each learner's assessment history is sorted with the most recent assessment first, in your own date format; self-assessments are labeled as not counting toward the average skill score, and manager or self-assessments show as “By [manager's name]”.

By job

The jobs list shows the total number of jobs and the total skills mapped to jobs,

By default the list only shows jobs that have at least one skill mapped to them — use the Skills associated filter to see all jobs.

Select any row to open that job's page, showing the skills mapped to it, the average job score across learners who hold it and have at least one related skill assessment, and a learner list you can filter by organizational structure, user custom fields, and whether you want learners who currently hold the job or learners with a related skill assessment instead. A Relation to job column distinguishes Current from Assessment.

Assessment gap

This view compares each learner's self-assessment scores against their manager's assessment scores. At the top of the page you'll see Learners with 0-10% gap, Learners with 11-24% gap, and Learners with 25%+ gap, along with an overall Average assessment gap for the whole list — color-coded Green for 0% to 10%, Orange for 11% to 24%, and Red for 25% to 100%. For the full breakdown of what these numbers mean and how they're calculated, see Understanding the Perception Gap.

Development - Performance Reviews

The Performance reviews sub-tab reports on your team's performance review cycles across two views: By performance review (the default) and By reviewer. The previous By reviewee view has been removed.

Development - Goals

The Goals sub-tab has three views: By supervisor (renamed from Learners), Team goals, and Organizational goals.

By supervisor

Available to Admins, HR managers, and anyone whose job has the View and assign goals permission. The list shows Supervisors.

Average completion rate at the top, with structural and user-custom-field filters. Each row is a supervisor, showing their supervised goals, supervised tasks, completions, and completion rate. Select a supervisor to see their individual goals, filterable by goal status (Open and Completed shown by default, Archived hidden), due date, goal type, and pillars/areas. Each goal shows its progress, creator, assignee (or org node for organizational goals), status, type, assignment and due dates, current and target values, and unit of measurement where one applies. A Details button opens the goal's tasks, courses, and assignment criteria; a View goal card button (shown if you have manage permission on that goal) opens the goal card in the Team Workspace; and a Cascaded goals button appears on organizational goals that have cascaded child goals.

Team goals

Filter labels here are now Goal status, Due date, Goal type, and Pillars and areas, and the custom-field filters have been removed. Goal status tags are color-coded — light green for Open, dark green for Completed, gray for Archived — and each goal now also shows its current value and unit of measurement (where applicable), with hover explanations for the assignment date, due date, current value, and target value. The View goal card button opens in a new tab.

Organizational goals

This view's filters are also renamed to Goal status, Due date, and Pillars and areas, uses the same status-tag colors as Team goals, and no longer shows a separate Organizational tag on each goal. Cascaded goals are labeled as such, and each goal shows its current value and unit of measurement. Selecting the Cascaded goals button on a goal that has them opens a page with the parent goal's card at the top and a simple list of its cascaded goals below.

Development - Coaching

The Coaching sub-tab reports on coaching sessions across three views: Sessions, Coaches, and Topics.

Development - Career Paths

The Career paths sub-tab shows the jobs your team is following and, for each one, how strong a learner's fit for that job is based on their training and assessments.

Switch to Classic Dashboard

You can also track your team’s progress using the Classic Dashboard.

To access it, select Switch to classic dashboard at the top of the Learners, Compliance, or Training pages.
