Tracking progress and completions is a critical part of managing learning and development within your team. The My Team Dashboard provides a centralized view of key performance and engagement metrics, allowing managers to easily monitor their team’s learning activity in one place.
This dashboard is designed to streamline visibility into learner progress, helping you make informed decisions and take timely action where needed. With this dashboard, you can quickly identify who is on track, who may need support, and where to focus your attention.
How to Access the My Team Dashboard
To access the dashboard:
In the left navigation, make sure you are in the Team Workspace.
Once you're in the Team Workspace, select My Team Dashboard.
There are currently two versions of the My Team Dashboard available: the Classic Dashboard and the New Dashboard. In this article, we will present the New Dashboard.
New Dashboard
In My Team’s Dashboard, you’ll find several sections that highlight different aspects of your team’s learning activity, such as progress, completions, and other key insights.
The sections you see may vary depending on your academy’s configuration. This means your dashboard might look slightly different from what is shown here.
Learners
The Learners Dashboard gives you a clear view of each learner’s progress and helps you confirm whether they’ve completed all required course steps, such as finishing lectures and passing assessments.
From this dashboard, you can access a list of all the individuals in your academy that you have permission to view. You can quickly search for specific learners and either:
- Open their full profile for more details, or
- View a high-level snapshot of their overall progress
This allows you to easily focus on specific areas of learning, such as coursework, onboarding, compliance, and more.
For a more detailed walkthrough, see the Tracking Progress with the Employees Dashboard article.
Compliance
Stay up to date with your learners’ compliance by tracking progress either by individual or by training program.
This dashboard helps you quickly understand where your team stands and identify any gaps that may need your attention.
For more details, see Managing Your Academy's Compliance Courses.
Training
Selecting Training from the left-hand menu allows you to focus on specific learning activities across your academy, including courses, learning paths, on-the-job training, events, and more.
At the top of the page, you’ll find several tabs that help you navigate different training types:
- Courses
- Learning Paths
- Microlearning
- Events
- On-the-Job Training
- Exams
- Credits
- Onboarding
By default, you’ll land on the Courses tab, with the following filters already applied:
- State: Active
- Category Type: Academy Categories
Filtering Options
On the left side of the screen, you can refine what you see using several filters, including:
- Category Type
- Categories
- State (Active or Archived)
- Visibility (Public or Private)
- Objectives (Compliance Training)
These filters help you quickly narrow down the content and focus on what matters most to you.
Downloading Reports
Selecting the Download button generates a report based on your current view. This means the report will include only the data that matches the filters you’ve applied on the page.
Note: The Courses Report available on the Dashboard page does not include courses associated with expired coupons.
Training - Courses/Learning paths/Microlearning
Select Courses, Learning Paths, or Microlearning to view more detailed information about the individuals enrolled in each item.
When you select a specific item (such as a course, learning path or micro-course), you’ll be taken to a list of learners associated with it. Next to each learner, you’ll find a three-dot menu that gives you quick access to additional actions. From this menu, you can:
- Unassign the training
- Edit the due date
- Reassign the training
- Mark as completed
These options make it easy for you to manage assignments and keep your learners on track.
When you’re viewing a training item, you can select an individual from the list of learners to explore their progress in more detail.
Within a learner’s reporting dashboard, you can navigate across three main tabs: Course Details, Past Completions, and History.
Course Details
In the Course Details tab, you can review the learner’s progress through each step of the course and take action where needed.
For example, next to an incomplete lecture, you can select the gear icon to mark the lecture as completed.
Past Completions
In the Past Completions tab, you can view the learner’s previous completions, giving you a clear picture of their learning history.
History
In the History tab, you can track the learner’s activity within the selected training, helping you understand their engagement over time.
Training - Events
Under the Events tab, you can track your employees’ attendance across all events in your academy.
Sorting Options
You can sort events based on:
-
Event Date
- Oldest to newest
- Newest to oldest
-
Alphabetical Order
- A to Z
- Z to A
Filtering Options
On the left-hand side, you can refine your view using the following filters:
- Event Type (In-class event, Virtual event)
- Categories
- Event State (Active, Archived, Canceled)
- Event Status (In progress, Past, Upcoming)
- Event Date (set a start and end date)
- Connection (Part of course, Part of learning path, Standalone)
- Offers (Single, Multiple)
These filters help you quickly find and focus on the events that matter to you.
If an event includes multiple offers, a modal will appear allowing you to select the offer you want to view.
Training - On-the-job Training
Select On-the-Job Training to view more details about your trainees. You can search for a specific OJT or sort the list as needed.
Select a trainee to view their sign-off progress and complete any pending sign-offs.
The Assessment Options section allows you to add comments, provide evaluations, and upload supporting documents.
The Assessments Matrix View gives managers or supervisors a quick, “at-a-glance” look at how their employees are performing and compare to one another against specific OJT training criteria.
- The Assessment Matrix will only display data if a Performance Level/Score has been selected for the OJT Tasks.
- If using Performance levels assessments, you are also able to select colors corresponding to each level to help you identify the previous performance of your employees quickly. You can set up the different colors in your On the Job Academy settings.
Sorting Options
You can sort On-the-job Trainings alphabetically either from A to Z or from Z to A.
Filtering Options
On the left-hand side, you can refine your view using the following filters:
- Categories
- Connection (Part of course, Standalone)
- Course State (Active, Archived)
- Objectives (Compliance)
- Learner sign-off preference (Required for learner, Optional for learner)
- Trainer sign-off preference (Required for trainer, Optional for trainer)
These filters help you quickly find and focus on the on-the-job training items that matter to you.
Training - Exams
Search for and select an exam to view details about the learners who have taken it.
From there, you can review each participant’s scores per attempt, as well as their submitted answers where available.
Training - Credits
Credits allow you to define specific areas of expertise and track progress toward them. You can create credit types and associate them with courses or jobs, helping you ensure that learners complete a required number of credits within a set timeframe (such as 6 months or a year).
Credit types act as specialization titles, reflecting both the level of knowledge your learners have achieved and the focus of their training. For more information, see Using Credits in Your Academy
On the Credits tab, you can search for a specific credit type or filter results based on organizational criteria.
Selecting a credit type allows you to view the associated learners, along with the number of credits they have earned within the defined period.
Training - Onboarding
In the Onboarding tab, you can track your new hires’ progress based on the onboarding plans you’ve set up.
You can easily see who is currently going through an onboarding process, where they are in their journey, and how long it typically takes to complete each onboarding program.
This helps you stay informed and ensure that every new hire is progressing as expected.
Compare Training
This page allows you to compare progress across your organizational structure.
Use the sub-tabs (Courses, Learning Paths, or Exams) to select the type of training you want to review and see how different organizational units are progressing.
To explore further, use the Details option to view individual learner progress within each organizational unit.
Note: By default, when no organizational structure is selected in Compare Training → Tree View, the system displays only top-level organizational units that have associated child nodes. Organizational units without child nodes are not shown in this view.
Skills
If your organization has Skills set up, you'll be able to track them easily here by skill, job, or by person.
Goals
On the Goals page within the My Team’s Dashboard, you can track your employees’ goals, as well as team and organizational goals. This view helps you stay aligned with overall objectives and monitor progress at both the individual and broader organizational levels.
Switch to Classic Dashboard
You can also track your team’s progress using the Classic Dashboard.
To access it, select Switch to classic dashboard at the top of the Learners, Compliance, or Training pages.
If you’d like to learn more about the Classic Dashboard, please refer to Tracking Progress with My Team Dashboard (Classic).
