Overview
Every course and learning path has a one-click way to get a learner-ready link straight from the Admin
panel. Instead of tracking down a URL some other way, you can open the three-dot menu in the Course or Learning path Panel, click a single option, and the correct link is on your clipboard, ready to paste into an email,
message, or announcement.
The link this generates opens the course or learning path exactly where a learner would land if they found it
themselves — its About page in the Learner Workspace. Anyone you send it to still needs valid access to
view it; this feature only removes the hassle of finding the link, not who is allowed to use it.
Who can use this
Anyone with access to the Training Admin Course panel or Learning Path panel, typically Admins and
Training Managers, can use this. No additional permission is required beyond the access you already
have to these areas.
Where to find it
You can copy a shareable link from any of the following places:
• The Course panel — via the 3-dot menu next to the Preview button.
• A course’s About page — via the 3-dot menu next to the 'Preview course experience' button.
• The Learning Path panel — via the 3-dot menu
• A learning path’s About page — via the 3-dot menu
The action and its wording are the same wherever you access it. Only the surrounding panel changes.
What to expect
Once you click the copy option, a toast reading “Link copied to your clipboard!” confirms the link is ready to
paste.
When a learner opens the link, it takes them straight to the course or learning path’s About page in their own
Learner Workspace, the same page they’d reach by finding it themselves.
Standard access rules continue to apply when a shared link is used. Learners who already have access to the course or learning path can open it immediately. For Private courses and learning paths, learners must also have the appropriate assignment to gain access.
