Release date 16 September
This release brings the Goals experience into alignment with the New Experience design language. Managers now have a dedicated, easy-to-scan home for the goals they oversee, and every goal opens to a richer detail page where conversations, tasks, files, links, courses and recognition all live together.
Additionally, another important change is how a goal’s overseeing manager — its “supervisor” — is determined. Previously, whoever created a goal had to choose the supervisor manually from a dropdown. Now the system works this out automatically from the academy's organizational structure, and keeps it correct over time. If someone changes role or leaves, oversight of the goal moves to the individual who takes over the relevant position, with no manual clean-up.
Under the Goals option in the left navigation bar in the Team Workspace, there are two options — Team Member Goals and Organizational Goals.
Both options allow for filtering, search, and sorting, much like you will find in other list pages.
Sorting options include alphabetically, Assigned Date, and Due Date.
Filtering options include the following:

Opening a Goal
Select any goal from your list of goals in the Team Workspace to open its detail page. Every goal opens directly to the About tab, which is the landing tab for the page.
At the top of the page, the header shows the goal's title together with the date it was last updated. The last-updated date is shown in the date format you have set in your personal settings. When you have permission to make changes to the goal, an Edit action is available from the header so you can open the goal's setup and update its details. There are also several tabs at the top of the page.
